DAY 2: QUESTIONS PILIP REFUSES TO ANSWER
Suozzi opponent refuses to debate
Glen Cove, NY – Yesterday, December 26th, the Suozzi for Congress campaign announced that former Congressman Tom Suozzi would participate in at least three televised debates, WABC, WNBC/Telemundo, and NY1/WNYC, while his opponent has not accepted any debate invitations.
“By hiding and refusing to debate the important issues that voters care about, Mazi Pilip is showing the same lack of transparency that George Santos did,” said Suozzi for Congress senior advisor Kim Devlin. “There are important questions she is refusing to answer that indicate how she would address issues in Congress.”
The people of Nassau and Queens have less than eight weeks to get to know the candidates who are campaigning to represent them in Congress, what their priorities are, and where they stand on the issues. Debates are the best way to determine these important questions.
DAY TWO: QUESTION PILIP REFUSES TO ANSWER –
Who Did You Vote for In The 2020 Presidential Election?
When asked by Newsday whether she voted for Trump for President or for Biden, [Pilip] ‘bristled’ and said defiantly: “Why will I answer something like this?
Asked directly if she voted for Trump, Pilips said: “It’s a personal question.”
Refusing to tell the voters who she voted for, similar to refusing to debate, begs the question: what is Pilip hiding?
