ICYMI: Suozzi on CBS 2 “I will give you concrete proposals with a record of accomplishment while [my opponent] is untested, unvetted, and will make things worse.”

Points out that he is someone people know, who has a proven record of getting things done

Glen Cove, NY – Yesterday, just two days before early voting begins, CBS 2 New York aired reporter Carolyn Gusoff’s interview with former Congressman Tom Suozzi.

In the interview, Suozzi underscores that his long record of working across party lines to tackle serious issues is what the people of the Third Congressional District need in the midst of vitriol and political game playing that has taken over Washington.

“Everybody is sick and tired of everybody attacking each other,” said Suozzi. “You can’t solve complicated problems in an environment of fear and anger. You have to sit down….and find common ground.”

Suozzi pointed to his record of being pro-law enforcement, leading the charge to restore the SALT deduction, and offering concrete ideas while working across party lines, as a moderate.

“(I) will stand up to the far left of my own party and the far right of the other party,” emphasized Suozzi during the interview.
