“We all know who sabotaged us,” he said.

The immigrant experience is the American experience, and Republicans’ politicization of the issue threatens that value, New York Rep. Tom Suozzi said in his convention remarks.

“Let’s be clear: The border was broken, but this year, when Democrats and Republicans worked together to finally write new border laws, we were blocked,” he said, blaming Donald Trump for deep-sixing a solution that would boost Democrats in an election year.

“We all know who sabotaged us. We reject the divisiveness. We reject the dysfunction. We reject the deception,” Suozzi said.

Suozzi used the same message last February to win a Long Island special election to fill the seat vacated by ousted Rep. George Santos.
